3 Things You Can Expect On Your First Visit

Did you know that the human brain process the emotions of terror and excitement in the same section, and cannot easily distinguish between the two? (Come through anxiety 😅 ) I personally want to know EVERYTHING before I decide to participate in something or somewhere new - so if that sounds like you too, then welcome home! This blog post is for you.

First and foremost, the integrity and health of your hair and skin is my primary focus. If we don’t have a healthy foundation to build from, then your haircut and/or color experience I going to be lackluster. As your personal stylist, my goal is to help you bring forth the absolute best, most authentic version of yourself and teach you the skills necessary if you want to level up your day-to-day glam game.

This includes a general understanding of how our skin/hair works together, how our bodies and environment effect the hair, and what it means when we need to take it easy and regroup before we move further to our ultimate color goals.

1.) My process truly is an interactive experience, and I want you as involved as is comfortable. We are going to begin with a personal lifestyle consultation to determine what your maintenance level could and should be - based on things like what you do for work and how you spend your leisure hours, as well as any upcoming special events we could be planning looks for.  This begins online prior to your appointment IRL and is continued once we actually meet for the first time. Our initial conversation is where we will build a foundation of mutual trust and learn how to best communicate with one another.

2.) Together we will then determine your ultimate personal image goals and what would best suit your current lifestyle based on the options I recommend according to our consultation.  I’ll accentuate what exists with a foundational haircut or color service, or create what doesn’t by utilizing my library of extensions and hairpieces. The simplest agreed upon formulas, tools, products, and methods possible to achieve your style goals, while keeping in mind your current skill level and expected level of at-home maintenance is my ultimate goal for you. This should be fun, easy to integrate into your life, and LOW MAINTENANCE.

3.) During the styling portion of your service, I will suggest your professionally prescribed at home product ritual so you can re-create and maintain your carefully curated look. We will also discuss your optimal maintenance schedule, the tools necessary to recreate your look, your current skill set and how to strengthen it, bolstering one skill at a time, until your personal toolbox of techniques is built and your confidence in self-styling reaches a zenith.  No goddess left behind!

Ciao for now bellissima!
