Hailing from Louisiana, by way of Florida, Matthew is no stranger to authentic sun-kissed hair with a rock-and-roll vibe. With his signature “Super-Natural” lived-in hair coloring technique, he can create those sun kissed jet setter hues that enhance your curls or frame out your smooth locks. Matthew has a gift for listening to what the hair wants and enjoys working with all hair types and textures. He also specializes in extensions; adding believable-looking length, volume and dimension to the hair with seamless customized hairpieces. By combining new technology with Old World techniques passed down from his Sicilian grandmother’s master wig making business, Matthew’s heart sings when he’s able to share his skills, delighting in that “this is my dream hair” moment with his clients. Impassioned about giallo films, travel and cooking, his world journeys and pop-culture adventures fuel inspiration for his work at the salon. He believes in connecting with his clients on a personal level and will leave you refreshed and confident long after your appointment ends.

She moves with the wind and flows with the river.” Giallo is the Italian term designating mystery fiction and thrillers, and it is this genre of film that first inspired Matthew to cultivate his version of ultimate beauty. 1960's and 70’s pop culture, specifically with supernatural elements, is his innermost muse.
Food + Chemistry
It all begins with an intention. As a 2nd generation Italian-American, Matthew’s earliest memories are in the kitchen - and it has always been and continues to be the most important and sacred room for him. His kitchen is a laboratory for creation, as preparing food for others is an act of healing chemistry. Matthew extends his passion of caring for others into his second kitchen - the salon, where the chemistry of his creation is palpable.

Solo adventures are necessary to recharge the spirit, calm the mind, and reconnect with the self. If you can’t date yourself, who can you connect with truly?
